About the competition
The Classical Voice Singing Competition Inc. has been developed by a team of passionate educators and performers to celebrate and foster the next generation of classical vocalists coming through their pre-tertiary education, and provides these students with a safe and warm performance environment to help them to solidify their craft. Students in year seven to twelve are invited to compete, with specialist sections for VCE Students, to help them in their final preparations as they near their final exam.
Student's also receive the opportunity to engage and perform with a professional accompanist, perform in a free masterclass with the adjudicator, and each performance places each competitor in the running to win one of seven scholarship prizes on offer.
